Microchanneling

AKA Collagen Induction Therapy

Microchanneling with Exosome Therapy: The Next Level of Skin Rejuvenation

Microchanneling with Exosome Therapy is a cutting-edge skincare treatment that combines the power of microchanneling technology with the regenerative benefits of exosomes to provide a non-invasive solution for a wide range of skin concerns. This advanced therapy is designed to stimulate skin renewal, improve texture, reduce fine lines, and promote a youthful, glowing complexion.

What is Microchanneling?

Microchanneling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive procedure where tiny, microscopic channels are created in the skin using a specialized device. These micro-injuries trigger the body's natural healing response, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, two essential proteins that keep the skin firm and youthful. The process also allows for better absorption of active ingredients, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the treatment.

What Are Exosomes?

Exosomes are small vesicles derived from stem cells that contain a powerful mixture of proteins, and lipids. These natural biological compounds play a vital role in cell communication and repair. In skincare, exosomes are used to promote healing, enhance skin regeneration, and accelerate the repair of damaged or aging skin. Exosomes are highly effective because they deliver growth factors directly to skin cells, boosting collagen production and improving skin elasticity.

How Does Microchanneling with Exosome Therapy Work?

Microchanneling with Exosome Therapy combines the best of both worlds. During the procedure, the microchanneling device creates tiny, controlled punctures in the skin. While these microchannels are open, exosomes are applied to the treatment area, infusing the skin with these powerful regenerative molecules. This synergistic approach helps to:

Stimulate collagen and elastin production

Enhance skin texture and tone

Minimize fine lines and wrinkles

Reduce hyperpigmentation and acne scars

Improve overall skin health and vitality

The result is smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin with minimal downtime.

Benefits of Microchanneling with Exosome Therapy

Microchanneling Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between microchanneling and microneedling?
Microchanneling is a linear stamping method that creates uniformly distributed channels without causing skin tearing or dragging, leading to reduced discomfort. The treatment is quicker due to wider tips covering more surface area. Additionally, microchanneling typically involves minimal downtime. In contrast, microneedling creates irregular and angled channels, making it a more abrasive procedure with downtime lasting between 5 to 7 days.
Why does skin age?
Skin ages visibly and invisibly every day due to factors such as sun damage, internal inflammation, environmental toxins, and gravity. As we grow older, fewer regenerative stem cells remain to repair ongoing skin damage.
Does it hurt?
Most clients report minimal discomfort, and many can undergo the procedure without numbing cream. There is typically no lingering pain, although some may experience a tightening sensation in their skin post-treatment.
Who can undergo this treatment?
Microchanneling is a minimally invasive procedure that is safe for all skin types. Whether you have fair or dark skin, or even if you experience chronic breakouts, properly conducted microchanneling treatments will not cause hyperpigmentation, keloid scars, or any lasting negative side effects.
My skin is irritated. Can I use moisturizer?
It's normal to experience some irritation after treatment, especially for those with sensitive skin. During this time, your skin may appear pink or light red. On the day of treatment, you can apply the provided AnteAGE Hyaluronic Acid. Day 2-5 (Morning and Evening) Cleanse skin using gentle cleanser, pat dry. Apply a thin layer of AnteAGE MD® Serum over the treatment area. Follow with a thin layer of AnteAGE MD® Accelerator. If additional moisturizers are needed please return to your regular protocol in addition to the AnteAGE aftercare kit. Be cautious with strong topicals for a few days, as your skin may be more sensitive.
How long before I can expect to see results?
While neocollagenesis (the production of new collagen) can take several weeks, improvements in skin quality and appearance can often be noticed within the first 24 hours. After 2-3 treatments, a thicker, more robust collagen-filled cellular matrix will yield consistent and noticeable results. Six or more treatments may be recommended for scarring, laxity, and wrinkles.
Who is a good candidate for Microchanneling?
You ARE a good candidate for Microchanneling if you have any of the following… Fine lines or wrinkles Sunspots and hyperpigmentation  Uneven skin texture Rosacea Moderate skin laxity Stretch marks Atrophic (depressed) acne scars Sun damage Traumatic scars Hair loss or thinning hair Anyone on the Fitzpatrick scale (all skin tones)
Who is not an ideal candidate for Microchanneling?
You are NOT an ideal candidate for Microchanneling if you have any of the following… You have certain skin diseases, such as eczema or psoriasis Cardiac abnormalities You are pregnant or nursing You have infection of any type (bacterial, viral or fungal) You have had radiation therapy recently You have open wounds You have Keloid scars You are immuno-suppressed  You have uncontrolled diabetes, hemophilia, or bleeding disorders Have used accutane within 2 years Stainless steel allergies.

Are there any contraindications?
If you have an underlying condition that significantly weakens your immune system, it's advisable to avoid microchanneling. This includes, but is not limited to, active radiation or chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic inflammatory skin diseases, recent use of Accutane (within the past 2 years), or bleeding disorders like hemophilia. Additionally, people with stainless steel allergies should not undergo this treatment, and we generally discourage it for pregnant or nursing individuals.

AnteAGE Stem Cell FAQ

Note: All AnteAGE products are 100% free of inflammatory cells, cell fragments, RNA, or DNA.

Are stem cells used in AnteAGE?

Live stem cells are not used in AnteAGE. Rather, we grow human bone marrow stem cells under special conditions in labs and then extract only cytokines and growth factors, discarding everything else. AnteAGE products contain these cytokines and growth factors, which are proteins encapsulated in natural lipid envelopes to preserve them, keep them functional, and aid in transporting these rejuvenating agents.

Are the stem cells fetal or embryonic?

Our stem cells are sourced only from the bone marrow of young, healthy, pre-screened adult donors. Stem cell cytokines also contain none of the original cell parts themselves, only the beneficial growth factors they produce.

How does AnteAGE harvest stem cells for their products?

We source our stem cells from the bone marrow of young, healthy, pre-screened adult donors. The cells are cultured in a laboratory, within a controlled environment that fosters production of the biosignals that will engage in skin repair and rejuvenation. We then harvest and extract the powerful growth factors and cytokines inside, discarding the cell itself. Our products are 100% free of inflammatory cells, cell fragments, RNA, or DNA.

Is there a difference between bone marrow stem cells and plant stem cells?

Where does AnteAGE source mesenchymal stem cells (MSC)?

All bone marrow stem cells used to cultivate our biosignals and growth factors are from adult female donors. They ethically sourced from state of the art, certified laboratories.

What are botanical and plant stem cells?

Plant stem cells are undifferentiated cells that can communicate with other plant cells to grow or regenerate all parts of a botanical.

Are plant-derived stem cells as effective as human stem cells?

Plant stem cells do not produce signals that can communicate with human cells, and human cells do not have receptors for plant biochemicals. Because they cannot communicate with each other, plant stem cells are unable to influence human cellular activity or stimulate a direct cellular response to grow new tissue, such as collagen. Plant stem cells act as antioxidants in skincare products, and—like many antioxidants commercially available—can offer an anti-inflammatory effect, protect against UV-induced oxidative stress, and can nourish skin cells. The American Academy of Dermatology has outlined the role plant stem cells play in skincare. https://www.aad.org/media/news-releases/new-technology-could-make-antioxidants-in-skin-care-products-more-effective

AnteAGE Growth Factors & Cytokines FAQ

What are growth factors?

Growth factors are subset of cytokines with extracellular polypeptide proteins found in a variety of cellular processes, such cell growth and migration, and are integral in wound repair.
